Product Specialist/Building Product Sales Consultant

for meeting or exceeding assigned regions Sales and Gross Profit goals, as well as developing a mix of stocking dealer base and special order business across all product lines.
The Sales Consultant will analyze assigned territorys composition-segment mix, target prospects/customers and pockets of untapped opportunity, organize market and product blitzes, understand customers practices and objectives, utilize value propositions, review performance/progress, execute all sales initiatives, and provide feedback on market data. Individual will also seek out new opportunities to expand business through new account acquisition, account retention, cross-selling and pull through.

(R) Read and Write English
(R) High school diploma or GED
(R) Ability to understand and develop processes
(R) Ability to travel
(R) Read, Speak and Write English
(R) College Degree or equivalent work experience
(R) Proficient with ERP, PC and Microsoft software
(D) Experience in marketing and sale of building materials
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Basic sales skills, working knowledge of cellular phone, computer
, printer, copy machine, fax, and automobile.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and MapPoint.
Attend sales and product trainings as necessary.
Extensive travel and vehicle operation required; Climate controlled office environment.
